Welcome! My name is Uma.
My journey into Yoga and Tantra began in my late teens when I became compelled to address issues and challenges I faced. Yoga has and always will be incredibly healing for me.
Every year I go to India to study and deepen my practice. I have a vast amount of training, mostly from authentic lineages in India.
My approach combines principles learnt through my studies in traditional Hatha Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Shaiva Kundalini Tantra, Ayurveda and Siddha.
I specialise in developing personalised practices for people and creating immersive retreat experiences for groups.

All Yoga with me includes appropriate physical movements and postures (asana), conscious breathing (pranayama), meditation (dharana) and other techniques such as bandha, kriya, bhavana and mantra.
When you take a Personalised approach to Yoga (1-1 sessions), rather than a general approach (group classes/videos), we can determine the direction and potentiality of your yoga practice based on your individual needs, desires, goals and circumstances.
Yoga Therapy further involves emotional support, life guidance and diet and lifestyle recommendations.
I love to work 1-1 because I believe that yoga is especially transformative when it’s a continual process of engagement and learning. Working together means continuously progressing and refining your practice according to your changing needs to best support the refinement of your physical embodiment, emotional intelligence and clarity of perception.
